Martine and Jacki Perrin have formed an inseparable artistic duo since 1967. They started working with ceramics while studying calligraphy with Korean master Ung No Lee. Their interest in glass began in 1995 and this material soon became their prefered medium. In 2001 they developed the “Build-in-Glass” method, a process by which glass is cut and recomposed by fusion, then reworked, sculpted and chiseled like a block of marble. Their sculptural gesture is influenced by architecture, music and poetry. Perrin & Perrin have been invited to many prestigious art exhibitions and events worldwide where they have repeatedly won awards. They are also regularly sought out to create monumental works for public installations. Since 2013, Perrin & Perrin have been represented by Galerie Negropontes, their works an integral part of the collections drawn by Hervé Langlais. Their pieces have been on display the PAD Paris and London as well as at Collective Design in New York.
